Carissa was born and raised in Elk Grove, California and went to college at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. After choosing Landscape Architecture as a major out of curiosity, she became interested in the idea of sustainability and designing unique landscapes for people and communities. She often looks forward to spending time with my family and traveling, and appreciating the variety of landscapes she has come to see. During her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, going to the beach, petting dogs, and eating!
