Callander Associates worked in coordination
with Woodside Homes and the City of Stockton Parks and Municipal
Utilities District to create Dorotha Mae Pitts Park. This
turn-key park was developed by Woodside Homes within the Northbrook
Estates project in Stockton. Dorotha Mae Pitts Park doubles
as a community park and a stormwater detention basin. Callander
Associates collaborated with civil engineers to insure the
detention basin would perform it's basic function and could
be used as a soccer field during dry months.
The facilities at Dorotha Mae Pitts Park include a shade
shelter, fitness stations, perimeter pathway, half-court basketball,
children's play area, picnic area with shelter, park seating,
pathway lighting, and riparian planting near the detention
basin. |
