Grizzly Hollow - Phase 3 is a 54-unit duplex-style low income family housing community built by Mercy Housing. Callander Associates was retained for the landscape design of the community center, two playgrounds, community garden, picnic area, and common area/streetscape. The unique "cottage" style character of the houses is complemented by a landscape design that is smaller in scale and can be experienced by sight, smell, and taste. By using multiple "typical" layouts, each home feels unique but as a whole remains easy to maintain. Common areas invite residents to meet and gather in a way that does not disturb the adjacent homes.
