The plaza is a collaborative effort between Callander Associates and sculptor David Black. It acts as the central hub of Island Park, a multi-use office and housing development in Belmont, California. Approximately 1,000 square feet in size, the plaza serves as the primary pedestrian overview and occasional civic and private gathering spot at the lagoon. The metal sculpture towers over bold multi-colored concrete paving, patterned to reflect the geometry above.
