Shasta Park is the community hub for the newer neighborhoods of North Laguna. Phase one construction with pirate themed play areas, water play, soccer fields, softball fields, picnic areas, jogging path, and parking was completed in March 2009. Phase two construction is scheduled to start in June of 2009. Construction documents were completed to include a wedding area, skate park, tennis and basketball courts. Callander Associates worked closely with the adjoining project team to deliver a cohesive 20-acre recreation facility that includes a 20,000 square foot library. Callander Associates was the prime consultant on all phases of the park development including master planning, public workshops, and construction documents for phases one and two.
