The 5 acre park site will include a multi-use field for soccer and baseball, visitor parking, playground, nature trail and picnic areas all on a terraced site. This project also provides a unique opportunity for the community to have joint use facilities between the park and the adjacent school site. In order to insure the cohesiveness of the two projects, Callander Associates worked side by side with multiple players through the design and grading of both sites. Early planning and collaboration between the EDH Community Services District, the Buckeye Elementary School District, the architect, two civil engineers and the developer have helped to insure the project’s success.
